Data on your device

Sickie stores your preferences, Tracked Places, Activity Profiles, sickie log, plans and invitation snapshots locally on your device. Shared snapshots leave the app only when you use a system share action. We do not sell your data.

Location and forecasts

If you grant location access, Sickie uses your coordinates to find nearby activity places and request local forecasts. Coordinates and selected map points are sent to forecast and mapping providers for those requests. Your current position is saved as a Tracked Place only when you choose to save it.

Third parties

Open-Meteo processes forecast coordinates; OpenStreetMap services process place-search and reverse-geocoding requests; the US National Weather Service may supply alerts; Apple provides system sharing, Messages, Calendar and payments; and our paywall provider may use a random anonymous identifier to present and restore offers. Each service processes data under its own policy.

Calendar and notifications

Sickie opens the system event composer with a plan you approve. It does not read or enumerate your calendars. Notifications are optional and requested only after you choose to enable them.

Your choices

You can archive configurations, erase archived snapshots separately, or use Settings › Erase all Sickie data to permanently remove app-owned local data and the durable anonymous paywall identifier.
